EK SAMVAAD – VIDEOS THAT INSPIRE
Ek samvaad is an initiative of WE THE PEOPLE INDIA (WTPI) to document experiences and insights of people and experts who work in the field of special education and rehabilitation. Live and/or recorded interviews are regularly conducted and updated on “Voice4Ability” web channel and social media handles. These videos aim to inspire people by showcasing the work of people who, even with disability, have made difference to their lives and in turn became a role model in a field of their work. The interviews are focused on the life of the people with disability and discuss how disabled people; their families and special educators are coping with day to day life challenges and their achievement overcoming the impediments. Through this initiative we wish to eliminate the misconception surrounding the field of disability and rehabilitation and involve parents, special educators, rehab professionals etc. to build a more equitable and sustainable society.
